Our 5 Point Support Program

Single Parents & Teens Foundation of Dallas, Inc.,
has the following objectives:

1.

To provide childcare support services to all single parents, regardless of gender or race at low or no cost to parents.

2.

To locate after-school care programs either apartment complexes or local schools, so that childcare will be easily accessible to the parents. Children will be able to participate in the program and not have to stay at home alone.

3.

To partnership with our local schools and focusing on reducing the rates of High School drop-outs, by making available to children and teenagers a recreation center to encourage them and offer conferences regarding different teen-issues and educational support programs. Also, to encourage young teen males to be more responsible and respectable.
A hot line to reduce the number of teen pregnancies, sexual, physical and drug-abuse will also be available.

4.

To partnership with different government agencies such as:

Texas Department of Human Services (TDHS) providing assistance with helping and training their clients to become independent and self-sufficient, and to reduce the time frame that their clients receive welfare assistance by educating, training and providing a variety of support programs at our multi-purpose Foundation.

Texas Workforce Commission (TWC) providing assistance with vocational training, educational conferences and assistance with different processes to seek employment, also to provide parents and teens with a job search facility in our multi-purpose Foundation.

Women, Infants and Children (WIC) providing assistance with different training for their clients to become better people and parents among other educational and support programs available in our multi-purpose Foundation.

5.
To have a hotline for teens when depressed, runaways, at the edge of suicide, drug, physical and sexual abuse and other teen related issues. Some times parents cannot relate to what teens are going through, by this, teens can have someone to communicate in confident, in turn reducing teen suicide, homicides, gangs and other non-acceptable behaviors.
